Great Paddle

This is a great paddle and I have been unable to detect any cosmetic blemish. I am really enjoying it and the way it has helped my game.

Power, not much pop

If you swing this paddle hard, it will produce a good amount of power with control. Which is great. But it has very little “pop” - blocking shots and dinks need extra effort to do much. Still undecided on whether I like the paddle - it feels heavy and quite solid, which is great at times and a drag at others.

Both paddles

I purchased a new 111 swing weigh first. It is great for control, but the power on return of serve wasn't wat I was used to on other paddles I have owned. I decided to purchase the blemished in 117 swing weigh. I like the 117 better. I initially purchased because a friend recommended it to me. I had rotator cuff and bicep tendon repair, so I took 14 months off. Two of the people in my league have had trouble with core crush, but I haven't noticed anything with either paddle I purchased. I play more with the 117 weight, because it seems to have a bit more power without sacrificing control.

Great upgrade from Rouge 2

This new iteration, is still a -control- paddle. It provides some more plow and pop than the Rouge 2. For me, the main spec that I was after is the longer handle, for my 2 hand backhands. Great touch, resets and when that high-ball shows up, plenty of put away power. In the same way as the Rouge 2, it takes some time to realize that some free-power comes from the dwell-time at the sweet spot.

Excellent paddle

I couldn't find a blemish anywhere on the paddle.
